@drivenwell2 You can use tanks in a built up area to devastating effect.. you NEED infantry for the tanks to SUPPORT. Something Assad's Generals aren't thinking about.

always a bad policy to use tanks in urban warfare..Russia made the same mistake.

@storm_seal exactly. That tanks are very vulnerable to infantry in places where there is a lot of cover for said infantry is not news at all. Tanks are best in wide open spaces, preferably with some small hills to hide behind.

I never advocated the use of tanks. Hizzbullah made minced meat of Merkevas in Lebanon 2006. But I advocate the use of nerve gas. :) cheers!
