@recon721 You're leaving out the key element in this crash...kid doesn't know how to countersteer. A ninety year old man with Alzeimhers and knowledge of how to steer a motorcycle could have had an hour massage and a happy ending and still avoided the merging car.

Fair enough...but I still really think it depends on the individual and for this individual the crash was inevitable... And by counter steer do you mean push out on the inner handle bar and let your momentum allow you to change your angle of attack? The same applies to bicycles, does it not? So back to my original point age should not matter...only state of mind and skill on a two wheels...

@Brent2000 Countersteering is useful but it wouldn't have got him out of that, he'd at best have hit the car to the right instead. Key element in this crash was idiot filtering too fast and not watching for gaps that a car may turn into.

Not sure that failing to signal would have made a lot of difference.
At the speed the bike was travelling, in the wet, between cars, not staying in the lane, potentially reckless, etc, I'm still backing the biker.
But hey, I'm NO expert in road laws over there, and it could go in favour of the rider.

@Brent2000 You're also retarded and have never ridden a bike. Rice bikes are top heavy dumb ass, Harleys have a MUCH lower COG. Rice bikes are top heavy because in order to get decent handling characteristics they have to mount the motor higher in the frame to prevent dragging. Harleys, on the other hand, drop the weight all the way down to give a nice riding bike that BLISTERS rice bikes off the line and in drag racing.
