@mrvipster The Taser C2 has a switch that stays on for 30 seconds. You have to pull the switch back, letting go doesn't stop the current.

Actually, the C2 is made to deliver a shock for up to 30 seconds unless you pull the switch back. It's meant to be fired and dropped while you run away. Taser then sends you a new unit after you send them a copy of the police report showing you used it.
