A group of Muslim teenagers who went on the rampage at Clifton's Fourth Beach after breaking their fast over the weekend has raised the ire of the Muslim Judicial Council (MJC).

The MJC called the teenagers "hooligans" and said they "can't be Muslim" after the teenagers had
allegedly stolen and broken a plastic table from a vacant bungalow, scrawled graffiti on the walls of the toilets and left a trail of litter on the
beach.

Shuaib Appleby, a former member of the MJC youth desk, condemned the behaviour of the teens.

"This is not an ordinary occurrence. The community is at a loss as we do not know who did this.
