A chimp is born: mom spreads birth canal
A pregnant chimpanzee, attended by her mate, lies on her back with her legs over her head, opening her vaginal canal to assist with birthing. The father looks on and variously tries to help and expresses anxiety at his mates distress. At last, the bloody water breaks and a baby chimp is born. Graphic, but real.

Well,that was pretty damn interesting. A parents intuition in any species is. I'm just glad that my wife didnt take on some of those positions when giving birth to our children,but I think she was in some of those positions when they were conceived. Dont tell her I said that.
