  • A close family member of mine works for San Diego County Sheriff's dept. She has contact with border patrol all the time and they tell her about Islamic paraphernalia they find in the desert near the border once in a while. The stuff was usually left like the illegals got spooked and ran off, leaving stuff behind. Everything from prayer rugs, robes, hats, even Qurans have been found.

    • @Kasmackba You're preaching to the choir here brother. The only problem is if we stop enforcement we could turn into Mexico. A lot of the young kids today are trying heroin instead of just pot and booze. I say put extreme punishment on the dealers, free all the users, legalize weed and then put the money saved into anti drug informational materials for nationwide dissemination throughout schools, web and legacy media. If they want to use drugs they can stick to the weed and not harm anyone.

      ooh I'm with you on legalizing weed. Tax it the same way as alcohol to increase revenue then earmark that money to fund schools and healthcare for all minors.

      And offer a cart blanche amnesty for all 3-strike lifers exclusivly convicted of possession of cannabis.
      Paying to have them in prison for life is just idiotic.

      But it'll never happen. It makes too much sense.
