Actually the biggest challenge is not exceeding company limits on sink rate, attitude and airspeed. It seems that close to the airport boundary there's significant windshear, which makes it challenging to complete the approach without hitting those limits. The plane has to be setup just right.
It seems that many of the go-arounds would have been saveable, but in the interest of safety airlines set these no-second-guessing-allowed limits.

Another great aviation find Baresy! Keep it up!
On the other hand: I am increasingly uncomfortable with the crosswind landings of late. After that near disaster in Germany last year-one would think the EU would take a closer look at the parameters many of these crosswind landings are made within. I'm not convinced they are as safe as they should be. Some of these approches border on unsafe IMHO.

Those are some nasty cross winds, I wonder if this is a normal occurrence at this airport ? I'll be sure to stay away from landing at this one

I know most of these pilots are ex-fighter jocks, but man-o-man, I would just go to another airport.
(But I never had to land on an aircraft carrier in hurricane winds in the middle of a dark night either-or eject and possibly die)
