This poor woman has been through a lot and recently lost her husband on Christmas day to cancer. While on the phone with emergency personnel, two men tried to gain entry to her home armed with a 12" knife. As they broke through the door she made the hard decision to shoot at the intruders with her shotgun taking the life of one man. As she was home alone with an infant child, she must have been terrified.
