Cop punches woman in the face
A teen took a fist to the face by a cop, all because he stopped her for jaywalking.
Investigators in Seattle are reviewing the incident, which was captured on video, but the president of the Seattle Police Officers Guild argues the use of force was justified.
"He did nothing wrong," Rich O'Neill said, according to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. "If anything, I think he maybe waited a little too long to engage in force because I think he was trying to defuse the situation."

If you think that's assault on a police officer you'd never make it a policeman in the UK our police get way worse on a Friday and Saturday night round the towns from the drunks, and they don't feel the need to punch people in the face of either sex. Punching is a learned combat move during Police training. Again, given the hostile territory, it is justified.
Age of the girl was learned after the fact, an officer has to react to the unknown actions of an alleged perpetrator. The individual was being aggressive and non-compliant to a law officer.

seemed like a perfectly legal and justifiable reaction, he met the assault with equal yet not excessive force.
this is a text book example of controlling the situation, you dont fuck around when your alone and outnumbered but then again 99.9% of you armchair warriors have never walked a day in a police officers shoes and dont have the stones to do so.
