Tornado touchdown in Kildare, Ireland

A very rare piece of video showing the development of a funnel cloud, brief touchdown and dissipation of a tornado in Ireland. Tornadoes are very rare in Ireland. To manage to film one is rare but to have video of the complete life cycle of one is probably a first. Many parts of the video are sped up (timelapse) as the video would be very long otherwise.

  • Pretty cool. Funny, I actually have a video I made of a tornado touching down very briefly and a few other funnel clouds in a small town in NH where tornadoes are practically unheard of due to the landscape. Maybe I'll upload it if I can find it.
