Thanks for pointing out the obvious (to the sensible). You beat me to it.
Explosives only make other explosives go off if they are within detonation range when they go off - usually inches away.
Alternatively the primary explosion triggers the detonaton mechanism for an armed bomb.
This is why bomb disposal units can blast large bombs to pieces with a stand-off charge and not detonate it.
Clearly the OP has no frickin idea about explosives.
