Buffalo Police went into action after two terrified parents flagged down officers - hoping they could save their little boy. The video is dramatic. You can clearly see Officer Jose Vega giving the 23 month old baby CPR. The 22 year veteran of the police force was stopped by the parents on Elmwood Avenue near Auburn Avenue. The whole thing caught on police survellence video.

The parents of Izaiah White where on the way to the hospital when they saw police. The baby had suffered an allergic reaction to medication and stopped breathing. Police and later firefighters jumped in to help. The baby was then taken to Women and Childrens Hospital by Rural Metro. Izaiah is in critical condition.
