IN ARABIC. Speech by Hafez al-Assad basicly saying how other arab countrys would try to change Syria and why they would want to do that, this man was a genius. A "Revolution" has been going on in Syria since March 2011 and there are still thousands of people willing to fight and die to defend his name, preserve Syrian culture and protect the society he helped create. He real was one of the smartest Syrians that ever lived.

  • Hafez al Assad is the most criminal / murderer who have killed for 3 decades long almost half of the Lebanese innocent people and have occupied Lebanon in order to steal it's identity and make it as a province of Syria, but the brave Lebanese Forces fought back and destroyed Assad's evil plans as they defeated the SAA and forced them to fuck off from Lebanon.

    • @TheShager When did the Lebanese Forces fight against Israel? Assad saved your ass in the seventies. Without him the leftists would have ground the Phalange and the rest to powder then. Later the Lebanese Forces mostly fought for Israel against other Lebanese and the Palestinians, preferably if they were not armed.

  • Hafes took power in a military coup and then butchered 40.000 civilians in Hama in 1982.

The Assad family is basically the middle eastern equivelent of the North Korean Kim dynasty.

  • great montage man,, I almost forgot about this speech, syria is the only arab country to reject western colonialism and that is because syrians are a reflection of this heroic arab nationalist, syria shall 4ever remain the heartbeat of arab nationalism, and the rock upon which western, Israeli and wahabist dreams die

  • Hafez Al-Assad understood Syrian priorities as a country. He once said that armies are not only for offensives while understanding Israel by further adding to the comments Israel ranks her priorities in the following way: security, land, and water.

In my opinion he was that generation of old school while being a nonsense man thus quoting him - Despite the ethnic diversity within each nation, the social fabric of the region by and large is one. This has to be the way forward for Syria.
