Blue Angels homecoming air show continues Saturday at Pensacola Naval Air Station. Performances begin at 9:30 a.m. with the Blue Angels flying at 2 p.m. Gates open at 8 a.m.

  • I used to go every year at Andrews AFB with my gal pals. We stopped going, as the amount of scribbled phone numbers pushed on us from servicemen were making us feel a little scared.

      I was going to say I haven't seen them for awhile, but they are well worth it if you haven't seen them yet. I used to go over to Spirit Of St. Louis Airport when they had air shows over there. I keep missing the shows out at Scott AFB. Have to try and make it next year. My buddy went this past year and he said it was awesome!!

      And if you are in the Pensacola area, I STRONGLY recommend the Naval Aviation Museum there on the base. It is way cool. Plan for an entire More..

  • saw one turn upside down and fly level over P'cola Bay a few years ago. It was just out of the blue, no air show going on at the time. It seemed like my backyard was a waypoint for them to do part of their practice. plenty loud. They had a stealth bomber come to one of their P'cola shows in the 90's. That one was pretty cool. It flew so slow passing over my house that you would have thought it was about to fall out of the sky, and there was very little sound at all.
