Bulverde Adult Leisure Center, which had a new surveillance system installed 13 days ago, captured images of the gunman as he threatened the lives of everyone who crossed his path while he demanded money.
If you recognize the man in the video, please call the New Braunfels-Comal County Crime Stoppers at (830)-620-TIPS (8477) or (800)-640-8422. If your tip leads to an arrest, you could earn up to $1,000.
There were more than 10 people inside, but only two women came to the woman's rescue. The gunman hit one woman with his fist. However, she was able to leave through the front door to call police.
In the video, the gunman is seen dragged the manager across the floor, putting the gun in his mouth as he reaches behind his back to pulled out a knife.
According to Comal County authorities, a woman with blonde hair, in a maroon car was waiting for the gunman outside. The pair was last seen on U.S. 281.
The manager was banged up and bruised and so were the two women who tried to help, whom the owner says are heroes.
"One of our employees, still even though he had a gun, jumped on him here and he pushed the gun into her chest and threw her back into the machine here," said Dennis Johnson, the owner of Bulverde Adult Leisure Center.
The new surveillance camera was not even mounted yet, but it got a good picture of the gunman's face and it clearly shows him waving his gun around.
"He was very reckless in his manner of doing things. A serious incident could have happened. Someone could have been shot accidentally or deliberately," said Bulverde Police Investigator Sgt. Steve Simpson.
Ten to 15 people were playing the slot machines inside the center, when people heard a scream. The gunman peeked around the corner, told everyone there was a gun and everyone left the building.
Fortunately none of them was seriously hurt.
