A couple of years ago I was a fishing guide, living in a remote area of
Alaska where guests would fly-in via float-plane and I would take them
fishing and bear viewing. On days off, I would kayak around, or video
grizzly bears or fish for myself. One nice day at the beginning of the season, I got the
courage to swim inside a beaver lodge.

Not recommended. You
don't see it here, but I got snagged on a branch in the entryway and
almost drowned. I would never have been found, just an empty kayak.

NOTE: I met with the BBC's Planet Earth series producer Alastair Fothergill at the International Wildlife Film Festival in Missoula, Montana and a PBS Nature producer, trying to interest them in some footage. They both cautioned about degrading the market-value by internet release and suggested all footage carry a watermark in the middle. I am adhering to their professional advice.
