Hi LLers,
Last August 3rd, LLer CptSpaulding put up a post about a memorial service that was held for a soldier killed in Afghanistan, SSgt Carl Hammar. I left a brief comment on the post.
Then 3 days ago I got a reply to my comment from a new user who identified herself as SSgt Hammar's girlfriend. Looking through the comments, I see she replied to a lot of the supportive comments that had been left. And then she left one of her own. You can read it for yourself. Not being used to the way things are on LL, it sounds to me like some of the negative comments had gotten to her a little.
I don't know if she'll ever look at the post again, and she may have just joined LL to make a few comments on it. But she might see it again. She might log in to LL again. And if she does, I think it would be nice to find a whole bunch of supportive, respectful messages.
So that's why I'm making this short little Yoursay, because I know there are a ton of really good people who hang out here in this section.

This is a chance to do something nice for someone.
Please ... no politics, and trolls should just troll elsewhere.

This post has been reported for attempting to do something genuinely nice for someone you do not know. A gross LL violation
