Yep. Spotter uses a scope called a Vector to check the range with a laser.

Phenominal skills and great assistance against taliban. Thankyou Canada. I am curious to find out more about the Vietnam vet now, since that record has fallen. Does anyone know about the difference in altitude i.e. how significant a factor that plays on a bullets trajectory?
