Tank takes direct hit, crew run for their lives.
Part of channel(s): Syria (current event)Halab, Syria, this morning. FSA destroy 2 of dictator assad's tanks and capture another one. at 0.14 you can hear one of the rebels say "giesh, giesh" (army), as they spot a few tanks moving onto their poitions. they run down the alley and and you can hear an RPG being launched. a few seconds later the tank is engolfed in flames and we can see one the crew members jumping out.

Zero tactic, when you enter in a city with tanks you need to escort the armored vehicles with infantry, the tank protect the frontal area,destroy any possible entrenched sniper or bunker and the infantry watch the side, it is in the lookout and engage antitank teams. That was taught to me 10 years ago in the service, this people have no idea.

@Panzerknacker2 I do believe the lack of infantry escorts is due to the massive desertion rate happening in the Syrian army.
Thus army commanders are trying to focus on large scale offensives where they can watch their men, leaving convoys and MSRs undefended like here.

@MudMan Had the same irritation, until someone explained its there form of 'O my God', I say 'o my god' in my language but it does not mean shit anymore. Just that i am surprised, god has nothing to do with it. They still believe, and think god will be with them or it makes them stronger when they say it. Hope it helps.
