The Finns are badass! They killed like 5 soviet soldier for every one finn soldier during ww2 the Russians had a army that was at least 4 times bigger. The finns had like 32 tanks against russias 6.500. Still it was carnage of the russians!

Ug, I carried those damn grenade launcher parts around for months in the military. They are heavy as feck. Grenade launcher guy = carry heavy shit around all day, then shoot some grenades and sleep in cold tent for x minutes and then do it again all day, for months.

@jonh I find it interesting that you call the mortar a "grenade launcher" which is also what the Germans call it (Granatwerfer), though in English that is a misleading term. What is "mortar" in Finnish?

@Lewellan222 the germans used to call the mortar "Granatwerfer" and "Mörser (which means mortar)". I think nowadays the term granatwerfer is more often used to describe the grenade launchers designed to be attached to a rifle
