I normally don't like horns that much in music, but this one is badass and would probably sound pretty good in some songs.

I wonder what something like this costs?
Probably many thousands of dollars.
I play in a big band swing orchestra. One of our saxophone players has a bass saxophone, but it appears to be about half this size. He transports it in a shiny wooden box which closely resemble a casket in size and shape. It has heavy duty castor wheels, so he can roll it. His instrument was made in Belgium, and cost approximately $ 6,000 (USD).

They had one of these bad-boys in a music store here a couple years ago. It was a higher end one from what the dude working there was saying.... $25,000. I don't know much about woodwinds, but it was pretty fucking cool and huge. Like a big comic prop Sax or something.

ContraBass Sax is nothing new..If 1846 is new then can't wait for the Automobile to come along I here it's a great mode of transportation.
