An Adelaide 36ers fan was denied his money shot earnings after nailing it from a half court shot. In incredible circumstances, the first shot got stuck between the ring and backboard, so they let him take another shot, which he nailed from the half way (Dec 22, 2012)

But, the promoters didn't see it that way, and held out paying 26-year-old Jarrod Hurley his cash. Only after public pressure and media interest was the money rightfully paid.
