  • "Get your AR style stock! Get your AR Style Handgrip! Get your AR style quad rails, oh yeah baby! Get your AR style flash suppressor, smokin'!"

Why not just buy an AR instead of trying to turn your AK into one?

  • I always thought vz-58's looked like an AK-47 but with weirder proportions and just kinda uglier, but this kit actually looks really good.

  • Absolutely nothing related to an AK47

Yeah they are very conceptually different guns but I'd like to see a side by side performance comparison of the two.

  • I'm content with my G3A3 battle rifle...

G3A3's are pretty cool, for some reason I simply prefer the look of an FNFAL or a G3A4 when it comes to that style of battle rifle. I don't own any guns of that "style" though.
How does your G3A3 preform? What's the maximum range?

It performs very well, especially considering it was manufactured in 1963! I've managed 20/20 fairly consistently in a 24" trashcan lid at 400 yards open sight.

That's pretty good. My Mini-14 is my medium range rifle of choice, I haven't shot past 300 but I can get similar placement to that without optics as well. With optics I could get much better, but I never bother, I keep my hunting rifles scoped, and my 10/22 with a neat red dot scope.

Was this placement benched or from shoulder fire? I dislike benches unless I am sighting something, it feels more natural to just "stand and deliver" LOL

I'm confident with optics I could tack drive well over 800 yards. I usually prone or sit when reaching out.

I remember when Serbu was manufacturing integrally silenced 10/22s some years ago. I should've bought a few...

Amen, the natural stances are the best, it's good practice to master shooting without reliance on something to lean on. Cheers man.

  • For the last time will people quit burying their AK's and then shooting them to show that they still work!!! This is pointless abuse of a decent gun boo hoo

  • Gay, covering your gun in mud and shooting some cans of soda doesn't make it cool..

  • How is more accurate than the AK-47...?
A gun is as accurate as the shooter is, the AK-47 being inaccurate is just a myth...
