Reef is a beachwear company headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska. Just kidding, they’re based in San Diego, California. The company was founded in the 1980s by two surfing bros (they are literally brothers, not figuratively the way surfers use it) from Argentina who wanted to create the perfect sandals to accommodate their active surfing lifestyle. Today, Reef has moved beyond sandals and is a huge player in the swimsuit market.

Enter the Miss Reef Calendar. Beginning in 2010, some genius over in the Reef marketing department had the brilliant idea to get some insanely gorgeous women, put them in Reef swimsuits, and take smoking hot pictures of them in exotic locales. Oh, and they decided to make a nice little short film to promote the calendar.

I say, give that guy (or gal) a promotion, because this video is absolutely breathtaking. It definitely gives the SI Swimsuit Issue a run for its money.
