You try that with a modern car in emergency mode.
At least the fuel supply is blocked, so you can't start the engine, and some cars have automatic brakes, to stop the car after an accident.
Also, you don't know how long the cars stood there.

get real man, do these cars look like they had that kind of safety features which you just mentioned?
and the hit wasnt that bad that need to be stopped in middle of road for long time
also, look at road was wet and it started to dry and they still cannot figure how to push their cars away
