The tanks have infantry support. The only way the tanks know where the FSA are is because infantry made contact and called in fire support. You can't support tanks by standing in the middle of the street unless you want to get shot. The infantry are in buildings and shit. It is impossible to support them any closer (unless you want to die). If the cameraman can see the infantry support, so can FSA with guns not cameras.

Tanks only isnt very smart. They are perfect RPG targets. They need to be protected by supporting troops, artillery and mobile infantry.

@RockSalt But by only sending in tanks you keep the troop casualties low. When you involve infantry, to sweep the city, you're gonna have higher number of casualties. Besides if you're gonna send in large numbers of infantry then you might as well do away with the tanks. Syria has the biggest arsenal of APCs, IFVs, and MBTs in the whole Middle East. Not unless some guys who knowwhat they aredoing are willing to actually shoot at them. I don't see any attempts to knock out those tanks.
I think the FSA just withdraw most of theforces until the tanks run out of ammo and pull back. The only damage will be some holes in the walls unless lots of brave SAA infantry clear and hold the building after this.

I don't see infantry support, but they may be there. I doubt it though.
The gun doesn't have enough elevation to get to theupper floors, and the 125mm high velocity HEAT rounds are not effect in destroying those thick concrete buildings. They would just punch a hole trough a wall and do some local blast damage.
