I actually find this info useful. I am in the position that I could cause significant damage to my arms on a regular basis. With no one within ear shot to hear my cries for help, I keep a rubber surgical strap on hand; but this product looks like it might work better under extreme circumstances. Now if I can just keep from fainting

If you can't get one of those. Get a cravat, bandana, or other long piece of cloth and tie a 6" piece of 1/2" PVC pipe in the middle. Tie that bad boy around your arm as best as you can and get to turning that PVC til you aren't leaking.

Here's to never having to turn the pipe.
Cheers!

I got to Iraq and wasn't given tourniquets, so I asked my father to send me about ten pieces of PVC. Haha, he was worried they'd think it was a pipe bomb or something!! All went well though til we got some real tourniquets like the one in the video. By the way, his velcro sleeve makes it alot easier.

Haha right!! But most people won't have sweet Velcro arms to help with the tourniquet.

I'm glad that there was a warning.
We wouldn't want everyday people putting on Tourniquet's incorrectly would we

That's great and all. Try doing what Aron Rolston did in 127 hours after 5 days of having your arm wedged between a boulder and a rock wall.
