V-22 Osprey Operations - Helmand Province
B-roll - Military helicopters have been in use dating back to World War II because of their ability to take off and land vertically, in a small area. In the 1980's, the U.S. military began developing an airframe that would combine the speed of an airplane and the movements of a helicopter.
