At-least 1 British soldier has been killed in a grenade attack in southern Afghanistan, the UK Ministry of Defense says.
The grenade explosion killed the British soldier from the 1st Battalion Grenadier Guards while he was patrolling in the Nahr-e Saraj district in Helmand Province.
The soldier's name was not released but the ministry says his family has been informed.
On Wednesday, At-least two US-led soldiers with the International Security Assistance Force were killed in the country's troubled south.
Also on Tuesday, two separate roadside bombs killed At-least two foreign forces in southern Afghanistan.
