  • FSA are probably ecstatic that they took out that pro Assad gopher. That son of a bitch was leaving holes all over that empty field. Some poor rebel could've tripped over one of em while fleeing for his life.

      Artillery fire is always laid in over several shots.

      The observer gives a grid coordinate and a single shot is fired. Then the observer adjusts the fire by calling say "left 100, drop 200" and another shot is fired.

      When the rounds are sufficiently close to target, the fire order "Fire for effect" is given, which means lots of rounds suddenly exterminate all life in the target area.

    What is so remarkable for it's unremarkableness is the constant formula of the narrator shouting out the time and date of the incident and then the chorus loosing off a few rounds of snackbar.

    The vast majority of terrorist videos are made to this formula despite so many different cameramen.

    It seems very likely there is an active media training program that transcends even FSA disunity.
