  • Amazing how calm these creatures can be. I am not sure why they needed a rope, pretty sure with a little more time, the shark would be happy to participate. they seem to be a very friendly, and from other video, they actually enjoy interacting with humans. Now if we just treat them with respect, and not try to turn them into a cash cow, I think we would all be better off. Like that will ever happen.

  • I don't think they meant any harm. They may have acted irresponsibly by treating the whale shark like a giant pet. It kinda looked like fun. It also seems like these creatures don't mind the attention. They appear very docile.
