The Teas-made
another from the British Design series, this one deals with the Teas-made.
I'm not really sure how this will go down but the plastic chair design vid was good....it's certainly interesting from many points of view. It's only 10 minutes - sit back and have a nice-cup-of-tea ......ahhhhh!
these machines were originally very expensive indeed - approximately two weeks pay, if compared to today's average wage they were about £800 about £1250 .. cheaper to get a wife (maybe ;-)
(I must admit I once had one but I don't think I ever used it in anger)

@bob150388 Remember that every British tank since the ww1 is fitted with a tea machine as standard. Seriously.
It's a question of priorities.

Thanks Cleaner. I love quirky little contraptions from yesteryear like this. As mentioned in the video, they're still being made.

Don't beat yourself up about the chair video Del. I appreciated it.
I've admired Day's work for ages
I've been trying to arrange for one of his fabric designs to be a feature of my kitchen. Love his stuff.

I can almost hear Mrs. Doyle ("Father Ted") grinding her teeth. I had no idea there were so many different designs. Lots of fun, thanks.
