I strongly disagree with the terms "martyr", "martyrdom" in this context. The greek word "martyr" means "witness". That is someone who says some truth, and if there is anything the hearers do not like and harm him and he has to suffer disadvantages, pain, even death, he is a "martyr".
The Bible tells in Acts, Chapter 6, of Stepahnus, the first martyr in the New Testament. And in the whole world, particularly in the islamic, every day lots of christians suffer this martyrdom, even today.
In Mohamedanism, the term was adopted later and has a completely different meaning.
Imagine I tell you something, you disagree, I beat you or kill you, I get sued, fined, sentenced or even executed for that murder, I would be a martyr in Mohammedanism! And if I do not like your lifestyle and even do not try to convince you with words but bring a bomb to you to kill you and die when murdering you, I would be a martyr!

That's the perverted logic in Mohammedanism!

Mohammedanism is a devilish cult, and the world would be a better place when it was eradicated. The sooner the better.

One last remark: I prefer "Mohammedanism" over "islam". Why? Islam means "submission to God". That is a fine definition for believers of any kind, even for Christians. But since the quran tells of some very special "god", and a very special submission as Mohammed told his followers, "Mohammedanism" ist the right word.
People who follow the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ are christians, people following the teachings and examples of budda are buddhists, and so on: zoroaster = zoroastrians, hare krishna = hare krishnas, mormon = mormons, and so on.

So the people who follow the teachings and example of mohammed (for example stoning women, murdering jews, christians and all other non-mohammedanians, and so on...) are mohammedanians.
