I live in San Diego next to a helicopter base. Heli's are loud and dangerous. And great for logistics.

Now one of those engines can basically power both sides in case of engine failure right?

@Saros As I recall,they actually do have an emergency shaft to coonect the rotors in that environment.I could be wrong about that,maybe a vet knows?

@Saros Yes they were designed to operate if one engine failed.

@plokiju That's gotta be one crazy looking design. Big giant shafts geared together across the width of that thing.

Next tech level I'd like to see for those Ospreys would be decreasing prop noise signature
and better armament.
A quiet, well armed fleet of matte black MV-22s silently dropping off spec ops in the middle of the night would be Awesome.

@Flood_Visine That would the commanche stealth chopper that was ,ahem,"never" produced.

@Talos4
Commanche was an attack heli to eventually replace the Apache.
The Osprey would be more in line with the Blackhawk as troop transport.

that video doesn't do justice to just how massive those osprey are... and while I think they're bitching plans, NOTHING better than seeing the new AH-1zulu fly over for close air support!!

CBS networks STILL play a 1991 video of the Osprey crashing during testing,and before it's avionics were installed.They claim it kills more babies than bangers downtown.(and evil whites invented it-shhhh-I'm hunting wabbits)

US Troops being trained to do dirty work for international bankers and foreign corporations. When the international criminals are done using you as guinea pigs for vaccines, injections, radioactive depleted uranium munitions, psychotropic drugs, and pawns, and if you aren't killed, you can come back to the US be labeled a terrorist for not joining the TSA, DHS, or poilce, be disarmed and maybe jailed. Wave the flag UN boys!
