This morning in Vladivostok's central square an incident involving an Olympic Russian boxer and Vladivostok resident led to shots being fired and the boxer being shot in the head with a rubber bullet which lodged in his eye socket.
Double european champion Roman Romanchuk is said to be stable in hospital and was restrained with handcuffs at the scene of the incident for his own safety after police say he was severely drunk at the time.
