I think the sun's value is way over rated. Like the partial eclipse the other day, did anyone really miss the sun for those few minutes? I know I was okay with it.

Yeah, the plasma flows are so dramatic. It's amazing that the magnetic forces are so powerful as to overwhelm the sun's surface gravity, even flinging millions of tons of matter into space.
