Titanic II
Order your tickets now .. be brave .. it can only happen once !?
Clive Palmer, an Australian billionaire who made his money in mining and property, is at an advanced stage of design with work on Titanic 2 due to start in China by the end of this year.
The new vessel will be 98% the same as the original, which sank 100 years ago. The only differences are safety related, and issues such as air conditioning in the cabins.

After what Clive Palmer said to Gina Rinehart today, he can build what he likes. I think he walks on water at the minute.

This is really cool. I would go on a recreation of a zepplin like the Hindenberg, but apparently the techniques used to build them have been lost.

You never rename a ship with the name of that pervious one that went down. It's bad luck !

@AngloFarkinSaxon
The current Yorktown is the 4th ship to be named that and has lived a long and productive life. No bad luck here:

It's just an old superstition. Like the ceremony for naming a boat, about Poseidon and all that.

I think this is cool and would love to ride on it sometime, and I am all about "choices" as he said, but I wish he would have "chose" to have it built in the United States. Other than that, I love it.
