These some photos I took of a friend's pet Amethystine Python called 'Precious' near at Lake Placid, near Cairns in June 2008.

These are only a few of the hundreds photos I took of a Precious. First up we took Precious outside and had her modelling for me in a small tree for me. She really played up very nicely for the camera to produce an excellent series of photographs.

Later that same night the pythons owner put Precious back into her tank & gave her a very large rat to eat, sorry for the lighting, but it was the best we had available at the time.
