  • Just remember that your standing on a planet that's evolving, revolving at 900mph.
That's orbiting at 19 miles a second, so it's reckoned.
A sun that is the source of all our power.

    • @Brian Stewart At the equator, earth spins at 1000 mph, we move around our sun at 60,000 mph, our sun moves around the center of our galaxy at 600,000, we can't even fathom how fast our galaxy is moving. You're 50,000 miles away from where you were when you started reading this

  • Everyone insults the lowly atom . Since the breakdown of the atom into it's subatomic particles , and how they interact on a quantum level , we really are quite bizaare primates .

  • If ("if" being the biggest word in the English language) we might not be aware of 97 percent of the species on this dust particle in the Universe we call Earth, how could anyone possibly suggest there's no Life elsewhere? Great presentation and a very positive way to engage life for those of us who are able to enjoy it.

  • we should teach our kids the only true religion: Science and compassion. As to his "we have all that we'll ever have" that's only true if we don't get past the stupid shit that is dividing us and don't start colonizing space.

    • @killerz3000 I disagree. Most of what he said is right, but he said that our problems will be solved by science or not at all. It seems to me that a virus could solve the biggest problems in the world, which all have to do with human activity. If we disappear, life will be fine. If we persist, life will be in danger from us, at least if we continue to develop new technologies that give us more influence in the natural world. Surely, we can solve problems with science. But science is not the only More..
