  • Oh Gawd ! Why did you take Hitchens from us ?

  • In case of any temptation to use the 'race card' on Hitchens...he was in fact part Jewish, on his mothers side

    • @ElegantDecline Which he did not know until much later in life. He was a complete atheist who discovered his Jewish ancestry later in life. That said he's not at all anti-Semitic. He despised all religions and all religious influence on governance.

    • @dorbie That's right, but he never changed his views on Zionism...

    • @ElegantDecline That's correct but I still don't see a solution to the violence. Where's the path from here to an agreement where land is returned the suicide bombers stop and the katusha rockets are not launched?

If only we could make the loudest voices for returning land the first to die IF the bombings resume. Then we'd get some fucking honesty in this debate.

    • @dorbie Well, I think that's actually pretty easy...what it takes is the Intl powers, the US, to make sure both sides put in security guarantees, which if broken will lead to sanctions and possibly worse

But once the mainstream on both sides have inked an agreement whereby they bury the hatchet for mutual benefit...the likelihood is it will last and there won't be problems.
Egypt and Jordan are the best proof of this.
The peace works, noone really wants to f.ck it up, and the people who do are More..

  • Great upload. The world would be a better place without Zionism!

  • Hitchens was great but this doesn't solve the problem.

Ever since the foundation of Israel Arabs have vowed its destruction and have made several multinational attempts at it. Most of the disputed territories which Israel subsequently occupied (and particularly the West Bank) were used as launchpads for rocket attacks by recalcitrant enemies.

I don't agree with the evictions and land stealing but I cannot fault Israel for occupying an area from which they have come under continuous attack.

    • @dorbie Of course they've vowed its destruction. Israel killed many of them with white phosphorous bombs.

If my child spontaneously combusted as burning hell rained from the sky i'd probably vow destruction to the country that did it also.

    • @John Lanzer White phosphorous use is disputed and the vows of destruction came decades ago and multiple invasions ago. Your historical redaction is part of the problem. Just because you woke up this morning and started paying attention doesn;'t mean the rest of us can forget 60 years of hatred, threats and murder.

    • @dorbie No, that's utter nonsense. The use of white phosphorous was admitted to by the Israeli government.

And your assumption that I have only just started to pay attention is ludicrous. Maybe you're just easily swayed by propaganda? Maybe just extremely gullible? Before you question another's historical redaction, maybe question your own?
Both sides have killed, both sides have threatened, both sides have committed atrocities since the drawing up of the borders. So while you may not be able t More..

    • @dorbie Ever looked at the Arab Peace Initiative of 2002? Full security, recognition, normalisation for Palestinian State on just 18 percent of the Palestinian mandate...they never got a reply

    • @ElegantDecline thats cause the Arabs wanted the return of any Arab that calls himself a Pali back into Israel...sorry no deal

  • Hitchens is in hell. The man was clueless on secular issues as well, including this one.

Both sides are using God as an exuse to grab land. Both sides are utter aliens to God and only serve Satan.

A Brit denouncing Middle Eastern imperialism. LOL
