Woman Attacked By 4 Men In Road Rage Incident; Men Were Armed With Assault Knives

The two drivers were vying for the same lane while turning from Red Run to Owings Mills Boulevard.

The encounter quickly escalated with blaring horns, aggressive lane changes and more.

"There was a young lady in the car. She actually threw something at my car and then flipped me off,” said Tranelle Butler, “So I was like, 'Okay.' I wasn't worrying about that you know. I was just trying to get home."

Butler had no idea she had anything to worry about until that same car followed her home and the man behind the wheel confronted her.

"So I kept trying to get them to leave the neighborhood, but he said, 'You don't own this neighborhood. You don't run this neighborhood.' 'No, but I live here.' I'm asking like, 'Why are you here? It isn't that serious.' So my sons hear the confrontation and they come downstairs. Of course they hear a man's voice so they come down ready to defend me with bats, and the guy was like, 'Oh, so that's how you wanna do.... that's how you wanna do. I got something for that.'"

The car left, but minutes later, Butler says the driver returned with three men armed with knives who encircled her and her sons.

"The tall guy actually hit my youngest son and then just started swinging back and forth and the two guys who were in front of me, they came past me and started jumping on my sons, and as I was calling 911, cause everything was happening so quick... that's when the driver of the car turned around and hit me in my eye."

Photos taken after the incident show the brutal effects of the attack, and the men responsible for the violence remain at large.

Police are looking for a gold, late-model Toyota Camry, and while Butler’s physical wounds have begun to heal, she lives with the psychological damage every day.

"I'm concerned every day when I come home, because I don't know that I'm coming home to. I don't know if someone's sitting out there watching me coming and going. My family... we shouldn't have to live in fear like that, and it's very terrifying."

The incident happened about 11:30pm on Thanksgiving Day, and if you witnessed the incident or know anything about the car or the suspects, you’re asked to call the Baltimore County Police.
