It makes it much safer than regular downhill skating. It's possible to go faster or have sharper turns to bank higher off of. I'd go down that with my old school skateboard and big wheels. Think it, design it and anything can be done skating. That's why skateboarding should rule as long as you start building San Jose type skateparks and luge runs for skating in the big cities.
