This hunter, 25 years old, shot 5 moose in one our saturday morning. 4 bulls and one cow. Two of the bulls were quite big, one bull only 1,5 years old.
He didn't use any dog when he hunted. He found two of them on the field laying down. He could see their ears, so he waited for them to stand up, and then he got two moose down in a few seconds.
The three others came when he called for them on his "mooseflute".
I really hope his team and all the other hunters in Norway take down what they are capable of this season. I don't like the moose running around on the roads.
The moose have become a "killermachines" when they prefer to use the roads instead of being in the forest in the wintertime.
I think there are to many of them in Norway, more should be taken out every year.

That's going to require some serious freezer space. No need to buy meat for a couple of years!

I could care less if the moose use the roads or not, we need to bend to nature, nature should not have to bend to us. You know, I would not mind some moose to hunt here in Wisconsin or northern Minnesota. Start transporting them here!! :)

Never had it personally, but I assume it's much like elk and whitetail which are quite good and good for you provided that the person making knows what they're doing
