      or the fact that Ali was quoted later in life stating he didn't throw it in a river, he had in fact just lost it

      you obviously don't see the point of what im saying, he said IF he threw the medal away because, he felt welcome in rome and there wasn't segregation, compared to the jim crow laws, he was disgusted by it IF he threw it away.

      Now some stories say he made the whole story or parts of it.
