  • Good leak....I'll probably get lynched for this but I really think that Monaco's had its day. Sundays showing was just a procession of cars following each other for 70+ laps..there's rarely any action except for the start. Replace it with Brands Hatch or even better the Nordschleife.

    • @UKGEZR I'm fortunate enough to live in Austin and can't wait to see the first race on our new track. It's only ten miles or so from my house. :)

    • @edfmaniac Nice one...I was seriously thinking of convincing the other half to go to Austin but she promised to deny me other pleasures for a year. It was a close call though.

    • @GERMANY_PREVAILS I totally agree with you on the new countries that are now paying Bernie's salary..and opposite to Monaco's lack of overtaking opportunities, all the new tracks are focused around DRS and KERS. Long straights can be as boring as no straights...we need some good new tracks that tests the driver and the car, with no artificial boosts. I think Austin looks promising.

  • 6 races, 6 different winners. Can't wait for the race here in November!!

How could anyone enjoy NASCAR after watching F-1?

    • @jeffbaustin You can't compare the two. NASCAR is an entirely different and respectable type of auto racing.

Next time you could compare F1 to KART...

    • @mael85 Let me rephrase that:

I don't see how anyone can enjoy stock car racing as much as open-wheel racing.

      Better?

    • @GERMANY_PREVAILS Maybe you should come to Austin for the race? You know about the German heritage in this part of Texas, right? We love you guys! (And your beer!)

  • Don't really watch/follow F1, but how has it become so close whereas in the past they has usually been a dominant team?

  • How do they burn that track into their brains to go lap after lap at such high speeds?
