Kangaroo didn't make it.

"Just a day riding the twisties and my mate got an unlucky surprise by a
kangaroo. It was too late for him to react, and all he could do is to go
straight. That ended up as a head on collision with the 40~kg kangaroo
hopping across the road.
My friend survives with just a minor; 10
minute ache to his manhood. However, the front end of the bike was
severely damaged; headlights, fairings and gauge-cluster were shattered
into pieces, forks were twisted, radiator leaking. And not to mention,
fur everywhere!
The kangaroo died instantly.

I was on a
motorcycle just behind the camera. Bike chasing was a CBR1000RR, and the
bike which hit the kangaroo was a GSXR-1000. We were riding within the
speed limit. Camera mounted on bike was a GoPro HD Hero 2 at 1080p 30fps
setting."
