Chen Wenyue, a company's CEO, illegally receiving 484,627,420 yuan from investors, paid back 182,765,120 yuan, with 301,862,300 yuan of unpaid debt outstanding and the number of victims as many as 12,608, sentenced to death on financial fraud. Collapsed at court upon hearing the death sentence.

I think a long hard sentence is enough, death penalty is kind of extreme but then again so is stealing peoples whole life savings. After second thought I would say this is a good punishment since these types of crimes really do affect people unlike drugs
