The movie that spawned the nerd theme of the 80's. If you're a nerd you've likely seen this before and it should cheer you up. If not then it likely will just appear antiquated.
This scene shows Madeline and Edgar playing music together. The source quality laserdisc was in pretty rough shape so I cleaned it up a bit but realistically it could use a frame by frame rebuild.
Audio goes from extremely quiet at the beginning to a loud crescendo in the center and ends very quiet. Nice and smooth with none of these irritating modern random bursts of silence followed by extreme volume followed by extreme silence that seem indemic to modern movies.
In total the size came out to just over 96mb.
Video contains no violence, no strong language, no nudity and is safe for all ages.

No it didn't. WarGames was a thousand times more influential. Electric Dreams had almost nothing to do with computers, it's a romantic comedy with a computer in place of the male romantic lead. IIRC there wasn't even a nerd hero in the movie.

@BloodyPeasant A theme is the central topic, subject, or concept the author is trying to point out, not to be confused with whatever message, moral, or commentary it may send or be interpreted as sending regarding said concept.
I know it's shocking but sometimes words have multiple meanings in the English language. Theme has at least five meanings...music is only one of them.

There's another song in this movie, the requiem of Edgar, which is literally the SADDEST music I have ever heard in my life. If you ever held a funeral for a batch of dead kittens and wanted everyone bawling their eyes out that would be the music you would play.
