Memramcook Fire Department responded to a car accident in the east bound lane of the Trans Canada Highway between Memramcook & Sackville @ 12 noon . There was a off duty medic on scene first and it was a possible D.O.A. District 4 RCMP were on scene and had one lane blocked off. Strong winds and a very badly rutted highway , but the roads were dry at time of the accident. A ambulance that was on scene but left and Firefighters covered the vehicle. I spoke to a RCMP member that told me to leave the area , but he did confirm, that there was 1 person dead and the only occupant of the vehicle. I did hear on the scanner that the man had a head injury. 1:40pm and they just asked for the coroner to attend.
