  • So let's review:

We've got an European nation, long-established, with a proud history. This nation is currently in a major recession, with their money de-valued, and foreign nations imposing austerity measures and repayment of debts.

The enforcement of these austerity measures is making the population feel unfairly oppressed, and in response, they've started voting for a far-right authoritarian government that blames their economic woes on foreigners and immigrants.

Say, does that sound famil More..

  • I don't understand. Nazi is slang for NSDAP or "national socialist german workers party." Why is the leftist fighting the leftists? Or is he confused about what hitler and the NSDAP campaigned and got elected on?

    • @jeru You... do realize... that Nazism was a far-right authoritarian government?

Just because it contains the word "socialism" doesn't make it socialist ;)

Its a pretty good indication though right? Spend a few minutes and actually go learn/read what Hitler campaigned on or what the NSDAP's core points to the public was. Go learn *why* so many people go follow such an asshole. Believe me, its not because "they all wanted to commit genocide on jews" or "take over the world". They were good people who thought the political philosophy sweeping Europe at the time (socialism) was the answer to their problems during the More..

    • @jeru No, that's just... incorrect. The Nazis merely called themselves socialist because of the very trend you mentioned - socialism sweeping europe.

History however, records their government for what it was: far-right, and authoritarian.

      http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazism

"Nazism was founded out of elements of the far-right racist völkisch German nationalist movement and the violent anti-communist Freikorps paramilitary culture that fought against the uprisings of communist revolution More..

    • @jeru p.s. North Korea's full name is The Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

By your logic, they're democrats? ;)

Authoritarian is neither a left nor a right trait.... Just like nationalism and fascism isn't.

Again, I ask you *not* take a summary from even Wikipedia which I remind you is just "some random guy" who has control over the content. Like I said, go *physically* read the content from the source. Hitler himself from Munich to Berlin and the things coming out of his NSDAP.

Most people won't so I'm not holding my breath. That is how people with motives can skew and paint th More..

  • That kind of behaviour isn't surprising for a country full of leeches. The feel they are entitled to free of everything and reacted like petulant children whey someone challenge their logic. It's like the same behaviour of the OWS leeches, union leeches, and all the liberal leftist leeches out there

  • Greece better get their shit under control. People want stability, and they usually don't care how they get it.

Remember: the Nazis in Germany weren't initially popular either, but it only took them a few years to become the most powerful party in the Reichstag.

It was a slap. If he punched her she would have been knocked out, since reports indicate he knows martial arts.
